Gill brings to Avitru –in equal measure– insights in building architecture and software architecture. He joins Avitru through the acquisition of InterSpec, where he was founder and CEO. While at InterSpec, he developed patented technology for BIM-to-Specs integration before most of the industry had even begun to embrace BIM. An Architect for over 35 years, Gill spent 17 of those years leading a team of specification writers who completed hundreds of projects for clients all over the world. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University and a Master’s degree in Architecture with a concentration in Computer Aided Design and Artificial Intelligence from California Polytechnic State University. Gill exercises his creative spirit as an artist, with works in both oil and watercolor.
