Paula has 38 years of experience in the design and construction industry. Her expertise is predominantly in mechanical engineering for national and international healthcare buildings, but her experience also includes a wide variety of other building types. Paula is a licensed PE in multiple jurisdictions and a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the American Society for Healthcare Engineering, and the American Society of Plumbing Engineers. Paula is a former ASHRAE committee member on Standard Project Committee 189.3 “Standard for the Design, Construction and Operation of Sustainable High-Performance Healthcare Facilities.” Paula’s favorite piece of architecture is La Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona. Outside of work, Paula enjoys ballroom dancing. She has been a ballroom dancer for over 20 years and has competed in competitions with her husband at local, regional, and national levels.
